A New Beginning
Now there is a new challenge for Club Down. The business of running the GAA in any county today requires considerable resources in terms of administration and finance. The newly re-organised Club Down has the objective of providing a stable financial basis for the development, promotion and betterment of the GAA in the county, geared towards success on and off the field. Club Down will provide continued support for the county teams at all grades and all levels and for coaching and games development.
To achieve this Down Club has embarked on an ambitious programme aimed at coordinating all aspects of commercial
activity within the county, including sponsorship, advertising,
merchandise and events. The platform upon which this will be built is the member, partner and sponsor categories of Club Down. These initiatives will allow everyone to buy into the concept of re-establishing Down among the leading counties in the province and nationally - and creating champions along the way.
