Faith In The Future
The GAA in Down is an energetic focus of the many communities that make up the county. And at inter-county level there is a desire and determination to remain at the top in sport and to protect and promote our cultural identity. All of this requires considerable organisation and efficient administration.
The structures are in place to deliver into the future; of course, to function properly, a sound financial base is required.
In Down we are now bringing a new coordinated approach to meet that need, through the evolving role of Club Down as the main commercial and fund-raising body in and for the county. Working in unison with the County Committee and the clubs of the county, Club Down is moving forward to build the sustainable funding on which our faith in the future will draw.
