Become a Club Down Sponsor What is a Club Down sponsor? Club Down sponsorship is the premier level of support for the aims of Club Down, creating and sustaining a secure financial structure to assist the development and promotion of the GAA in all its facets in and for the county. How much does it cost? For an initial three year period a Club Down sponsor will contribute £100.00 per month, payable by standing order. This provides you with a significant opportunity to play a major part in strengthening and building the GAA in our county. Options for quarterly, bi-annual, or lump sum subscriptions can also be accommodated. Where does the money go? County GAA activities nowadays require an incredible amount of organisation, preparation, back-up service and commitment, from coaching and games development work to supporting underage squads and all other county teams, as well as providing support for cultural and language activities. In addition to its fundraising remit, Club Down's close relationship with the County Committee ensures that you, as a sponsor, have a real say in how your sponsorship is applied. As a sponsor, you play a prominent part in building up Club Down into an effective commercial organisation for the benefit of the GAA in Down. We need a secure financial base from which to grow and compete at the highest level, and you can help "make it happen". The success of the county depends on all facets working together - players, management, supporters, administrators, members, partners and sponsors - all essential parts of "the Down team". What are the sponsor benefits? In the first year of sponsorship, you will receive: - A Club Down Member's welcome pack including membership card and car sticker - Customised Club Down jacket and Club Down polo-shirt* In each of the 3 years, you will also receive - 2 x free entries to the quarterly Club Down Draws - Entitlement to purchase at face value 6 tickets for all-ticket matches involving Down (upon application) - Entitlement to 2 free tickets to all home National League games in Down (football and hurling, upon application) - Entitlement to 2 free tickets to all senior club championship games in Down (football and hurling) - Entry in exclusive "sponsors only7' draw for All-Ireland tickets each year - Entitlement to 4 free tickets to the Annual Club Down members' event, (details to be announced later) - Acknowledgment with logo in the Down GAA Yearbook fir County Final programme - Acknowledgment with logo on the Club Down website - Free copy of the Down GAA Yearbook - Regular Club Down newsletter by email. Benefits are effective from the date of first payment received by standing order (or on receipt of payment in full). Benefits are valid for the calendar year from the effective date. Prize money in quarterly draws may by agreement be issued net of applicable annual amount of subscription - Merchandise has been commissioned exclusively for Club Down members, partners and sponsors.
